ART FIGHT is an art trading game that takes place every July. I first joined Art Fight in 2020, which was a wonderful way to connect with other people during the pandemic. Basically, artists are divided into two teams, and the goal is the attack (i.e., draw) other artists' characters for points. Greater points are earned for attacking characters from the opposite team.
At first, I was a little skeptical about drawing art for other people for free, but I quickly understood the appeal. I LOVE seeing reactions when I surprise someone with a drawing. And, of course, I receive drawings of my own characters (sometimes in exchange for my drawing, other times out of the blue). I also treat Art Fight as a time to experiment and practice. I draw so many different subjects than I'm used to.
Art Fight 2025 ended. But if you are on Art Fight, you can give me a follow here! Maybe we can draw for each other next year.
Below are my 2025 attacks! I broke my record: 30 drawings! (31 if you include my last-minute pixel art attack!) Most of them were drawn in Heavypaint on my iPad with Apple Pencil.

Drew this only with the fill and rake brushes. This one turned out pretty badass, I'm proud of it haha

The ref I used was just a sketch of his head, plus a written description, so I had a lot of freedom with this one.

The water felt so weird to draw because I didn't want to get caught up in the details. But I think I go it??

I accidentally drew her hand backwards oops (corrected here; you can see the incorrect version on Art Fight).
